There is a house in New Orleans They call the Rising Sun . . .and it's been the ruin of many a poor boy

Burberry Trench coat and shorts with tights with faux fur leopard print scarf and tom ford cat eye anouk sunglasses and hunter welly rain boots, DSC_0151

What I'm Wearing
* Burberry Trench {shorty} ...Most similar to this one {the only difference is the top flap in the back, this one is straight and mine is curved}
* Black sweater
* Victoria's Secret taupe shorts ...seen here with a scarf tied in a bow
* Faux fur leopard print scarf ... My own ...Click Here for the DIY
* American Apparel black opaque tights
* American Apparel thigh high socks in taupe {worn just under knee}
* Hunter Boa Welly Boot
* Cynthia Rowley burgundy bag with tassel
* Tom Ford cat eyes

* Title: lyrics from The Animals "House of the Rising Sun" The performance video for this song is awesome and their voices so don't match their look. It's such a fantastic song - 1964

The weather in LA has been having crazy mood swings lately. One day it's raining and freezing, the very next is warm and sunny then a day later, Wizard of OZ windy. It's seemingly impossible to know when leaving the house in the morning just how the day is going to turn out. I wore this last week actually, when in the morning it was raining but by the afternoon, it was sunny. Go figure. However, it's pretty much always below zero in the art gallery so I'm always better off when I bundle up. This day, in particular, I didn't plug in & turn on my space heater even once. #Win

This is a such a fun outfit. I have the Hunter Boa boots but the shorter version and I love them. I probably get a lot more use out of mine being in Seattle! I can't wait to try your DIY. My closet is in need of a fur scarf!

Glad to know DC isn't the only place where Wellies are a necessity today. I love my traditional black Hunters, but I'm thinking I'm going to have to go with the crocs my next go around. You make them look uber stylish and adorable!
