Been Savin' it All for You cause Only Love can Last

leopard dress with wood platform wedges and cat eyes vibrance d

What I'm Wearing
* SEA NY leopard print silk dress ...my go-to dress when I want to be comfy and don't feel like planning an "outfit" ...seen here as a coat
* The Jersey Maid brown long cardigan ...see it here in 2009
* Steve Madden wood platform wedges ...last seen here
* Lucky clover necklace
* Tom Ford cat eyes
* Hair: pulled back front section while wet, clipped and let air dry. Once dry, I removed the clip, leaving hair set in place, created a loose braid from there. My hair has been a bit dryer since getting it done so the added texture kept the braid from completely unraveling without being tied.

* Title: lyrics from Madonna's "Like a Virgin" ...and omg I love Madonna. I just watched the video which I don't think I've actually watched since the 80's. Such a pioneer, that woman ...and hugely inspired by her as a kid growing up in the 80's, as many of you were as well, I'm sure.

My first post since the New Year where I haven't had to download my images onto one computer, upload them to Flickr ...open them on my other computer to edit them in Photoshop then upload to Flickr again ...then back to my new computer to create my post. Phew! I finally have my new iMac fully loaded with all the programs I need, including my beloved CS5 ...though I mostly use Photoshop. Blah Blah Blah .....

....this was a rather boring outfit in my opinion ...but the first day in MANY MANY MANY MOONS that the husband told me I looked pretty. So obviously, men prefer simpler, girlier, less fussy, shorter dresses, that may accidentally blow up due to a gust of wind at any given moment. But we knew that ;)

I love these pics of you, you looks really calm and happy!

Not sure if you can get Shan Rahimkhan products in the US but they are amazing! {he's a famous hairdresser in Berlin apparently, I'd never heard of him thou...} My hair was very damaged last year so I was trying to grow it out/get it in better condition. Then it was totally hacked by a hairdresser {he got a shaver out and everything. I cried!} So I'm now going through the process of trying to grow it, go from dark to blonde and get it into good condition. I got given a couple of his products to use a few weeks ago as they have just been launched in the UK and I am totally in love! Definitely worth a look :o) Or I get on well with John Freida's root awakening range - again don't know if it is just a UK thing.

The color combination is perfect (although I love seeing you in color too). The leopard print is phenomenal and so fabulous with the cardigan. But oh I am in love with the shoes. it is so hard to find stylish summer heels, and these are pretty stylish. the leather makes it a little bolder. They will look fabulous with the right pants too.

That final image is positively PERFECTION. I think we need to start a trend of monday improvements - casual mondays (as opposed to fridays), lunch time happy hour specials, 2 for 1 chocolate bar deals...

I agree with Anna, your hubby needs to tell you more often ;) Also that last picture is phenomenal, it should be framed!

I asked my fiancé once why he and I never liked the same outfits on me, and his response was: "It's exhausting trying to mentally undress you in one of your outfits... there are too many scarves and belts and shirts."

And I wouldn't call this outfit boring (it's quite exciting in my opinion: I'm fascinated with, but afraid of animal prints). If it must be labelled, I'd call it classic!

Men like fitted dresses that show mile long legs and you've got that down! Can't wait to see the remodeled office.

I am in love with your hair here and you need to do a tutorial on this one. If I tried it (even though my hair isn't heavy) I know the braid would weigh down the poof on top, the braid would look spindly and come unraveled. I would look like that weird girl in the eighth grade who hadn't realized that she should maybe try an older hairstyle, lol.
