The husband and I spent a lovely Earth Hour with our friend Alison {who took these photos of the two of us, thanks lady!} surrounded by candles and tea lights and chit chat and laughter. . .
. . . which may or may not have been induced by a legal-in-16-states herb inhalation. . .
. . . and a little sugar . . . whose packages were recycled promptly upon emptying.
* Much fun was had . . . we should do Earth Hour more often I think ;)

We had our Earth day in Australia recently as well, and I loved the excuse to light dozens of candles and chill out with a book! Unfortunately my hubby is an electrician and had to work overtime that night, but sometimes a girl can enjoy some candles on her own ;o)
I really love your blog, but I must tell you, every time I try to visit, my AVG security program detects threats on your Blog and I have a lot of trouble accessing your pages. Perhaps you could look into this as I don't want to stop visiting! So you know what you're looking for, they said the threat was an 'Exploit IFrame Script'. SO ROMANTIC.
I was in a birthday party and suddenly all the lights went down ad tons of candles started to glow around us. Was kinda magical and really romantic!

OMG! I forgot about earth hour!! We normally are soooo good about this. I'm going to have to go hang my head in shame now...
I didn't know respectable people still did drugs. I think it's a little beneath adults -- a bit pathetic, honestly. I'd rather associate with those that can have fun without substance. Especially illegial ones. I thought you were better than that. If for no other reason, to set an example for readers.
