Hawaiian Bread!
* My Easy Recipe since a few of you asked . . . beat 2 large eggs with a splash of milk {or milk-like substance} as if you're making scrambled eggs - for 4 pieces of French Toast. I use a non-stick pan so I don't need to grease it, QUICKLY lay one side of your bread in the egg mix then flop to the other side, making sure all areas of bread are covered but NOT SOGGY, don't let that bread sit in there! Then into your pan for a few minutes {I just eyeball it, depending on how dark or light I want it} then FLIP to the other side, remove and place on a plate and IMMEDIATELY add butter and sprinkle powdered sugar while the butter has just melted . . . that's how I do it.
...he likes a little powdered sugar and a little syrup.

...I like a ton of butter and so much powdered sugar sprinkled ever so slowly that it creates an icing of yummy goodness.

I usually bake some bacon up with it for a little fatty protein ...it's a Sunday Funday breakfast.

Delish! Hugs and wishing you a peaceful Sunday!
Oh, I just love Hawaiian rolls, i didn't know this bread came sliced...! Looks yummy!
i prefer mine with a ton of butter and a thick coating of powdered sugar too. all pasty and tasty. (i also prefer to eat it with a black shirt on so the powdered sugar makes the ultimate mess on my clothes.)

Maegan, I'm someone who has ZERO cooking skills -- even something as "basic" as French toast -- but you're inspiring me to channel my inner domestic diva. Can you post your recipe for the French toast from scratch please??
Oh my I so agree now you've gone and done its back to the grocery store :)
Thanks for stopping by the other day and your sweet comment!

YUMZ! How could you do this to use on a Sunday? French toast is my absolute fave. Gotta try it w/ Hawaiian sweet bread next time! Thanks for the tip.
Can't wait to try this! My last batch of french toast ended up in the trash. Even though I used french bread it way too soggy, yuck.
i can almost smell it!! so yum.
and thanks for the extra gray suit wedding love! your bro was ahead of the trend :)
i also love that the groomsmen gifts were BATS!!!!!!!!! so rad
oh yes! hawaiian bread makes everything taste better. just today i was at costco and they were giving out free samples of pulled pork sammies. i almost peed myself with excitement when i saw they were using hawaiian bread instead of sliced blah bread.
This is making me so hungry. I love french toast and I'm always looking for good recipes!

My mouth is watering! Having real syrup also helps. Nothing out of a plastic bottle.

OMG I'm salivating! Can't wait to try this. Must find sliced hawaiian bread now!

Ill try some icing sugar next time ;)

I have been eating King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls since high school, but had NO IDEA they made sliced bread. Charleston needs to hop on this band wagon and carry it in our grocery stores!
