What I'm Wearing
* Vintage floral print dress ...thrifted ...last seen here {I've actually never worn it un-belted before but I kinda loved it}
* Victoria's Secret open cardigan ...I pinned the edges together {mid center} behind my back so it wouldn't overpower the front of this dress
* Vintage chains, hooked together for length, vintage beaded tassel that usually hangs on my bedroom doorknob but made a perfect necklace today, vintage bangles, a few plastic bangles from Forever 21 and my leather lanyard bracelet {I think I wear this at least 3 times a week, the cognac just goes with everything I'm into right now} ...I listed a few more in my Etsy shop if you don't want to DIY them yourself
* 70's Sunglasses, unknown
* Steve Madden blush leather "Wonderful" wooden wedges . . .literally cannot stop wearing these platforms - in both the black and blush. They're my absolute go-to shoes of the moment. Sadly they're sold out, but here's a similar pair of Madden wooden wedges and here's another cute pair from TopShop
* Cynthia Rowley burgundy leather tassel "Constance" bag
* Title: lyrics from Everything But The Girl ~ Missing . . . I had an ungodly obsession with this song in the 90's.
* Hair: let hair air-dry and didn't brush it, thus giving it that extra messy/beach look, parted in the middle, messily fishtailed the two front sections down then swooped it all back into a messy low pony tail. It's easy if you know how to fishtail ...don't know how? Click here to watch my fish tail hair tutorial
Who's happy it's Friday?!?!?!?! . . . um, me.

I love this look - those Steve Madden wedges are amazing. For me they also work really well with that cute floral print dress. But special mention has to be given to that Cynthia Rowley tassel bag - divine!!
Cuss i LOVE those shoes *sigh! Cant wait for the fishtail tutorila WHOOPA!! :)
xoxo
Pretty pretty dress. Ever since The Dixie Chicks "Cowboy take me away" video I have always wanted to know how to fishtail.
I love how you make even casual outfits look stylish, must be a talent that you are born with!
Super cute outfit - dress is sort of similar in print/length to Tracey Thorn's in the video to "Missing". I, too, was obsessed with this song in the 90's - that whole CD is like a time capsule when listen to it now!
Sometimes I don't leave comments on your blog posts but that's because I'm really just dying of envy ;) Because you're so gorgeous and I can't tell you how much I want your hair! <3 I love how you did the little braids and then put it in a ponytail. I know it's simple but it works! xoxo
You look so beautiful as always Maegan. My post today is on tattoos, I see you have a few haha
xoxo
yesss! i was hoping a fishtail braid tutorial was in the works after seeing your pic on instagram yesterday. so excited!
I love love love this look and am DYING for that dress, both belted and sans-a-belt (remember those cheesy men's pants???). Your hurr is poyfect. I swear, if I left my hair to fend for itself and wore it air-dried, people would be all - ohhh, look - she must've just got out of the hospital, poor girl.
Anyhoozle - have a happy Friday, yo!
merci,
Shannan
