I like the little splash of color is adds to a look.

I actually just added the stuff to make this to my shopping list yesterday. I really like them. But I'm also pretty much 12 (I'm 23)
I think people are trying to flashback to the 80's, but for me it's not happening. I don't mind a leather wrap bracelet. Wearing 10 of them on one wrist is extreme. The next come back will be those slap bracelets that were banned. :)
i like it mixed with the david yurman!!
What?! They're back?! No thanks!

i think they are actually kind of cute for casual days (:
um i kind of love them. now i'm embarrassed!
hater!!! :P
i love 'em and i'm not 12. :)
Aww I used to love these! I actually used to make them too. Loving this post :) I wanna make them now.

Nothing says it's summer like putting on a couple of these! However I am from a family where my mom would put sailor bracelets on us the night after the last day of school and cut them off the night before the first day, so friendship bracelets really hit home for me!
I love this bracelets I have so many!!

A FAD! The first person who did it was original. Everyone else is jumping on the gravy train. Lemmings.
They look awesome! I remember having tons back when in elementary school, wonder where they are now, gotta make some asap! Thanks for the inspiration!

Wait. . . friendship bracelets are hot fashion now?!
Leather twisted things are as far as I'll go.
I use to make the bracelet with 2 columns of draw, not just one, so it´s bigger. Do you know in the 2ยบ picture how to attach or sew the strass to the bracelet? are you gonna make a diy?
Ana
thank you. this really needed to be said :)

They can be fun once in a while... the key part of that statement was "once in a while"!! It's when they are overdone and all the time that they annoy me.
lol, I always had those 'friendship' bracelet from Africa....but they are just becoming popular now and I lost interest.
I love these! Used to make them myself when I was in middle school :) Gotta find them now :)
xxx,

I love them :) They are sooo cute :)
I think they are cute. Mostly on other people. They kinda feel icky (did I say that?) when they get wet.........ewwww.
Well, the good thing about fashion is that there is something for everyone! Everybody gets into different trends and it's totallly respectable!
I like them! If anyone has any ideas as to where to buy them (inexpensive), do let me/us know. I would like to buy at least six. Have a great week, everyone!
Maegan, I totally agree with you regarding the woven multi floss bracelets like I used to make in high school.
I'm wondering if you classify the woven bracelets with beads and crystals in the same category. I think the ones by Devora Libin are a bit more sophisticated. What do you think?

ok. have to admit I love them! My 3 daughters, 19, 14 & 12, wear tons of them and make them! So if you see a 46 year old with a few on--don't judge, I have to wear them! My best friends gave them to me :)
No judgment here either, but I don't want to run out and get any. Or make any... I have fond memories of the ones I had as a kid, but that's it.
I keep hopping on and off this bandwagon. Sometimes they look great and others I think they need to be left where they belong: at camp. I particularly like the fusion ones though where traditional gold chains are intermixed with the bright embroidery... see, there I go again
Beautiful things. I love them.
