What I'm Wearing
* Delong Ocean Blue maxi dress by Supertrash ...courtesy of Supertrash
* Vintage cognac corduroy blazer ...it's been so chilly and June gloomy lately :( {I need a tan already!} ... last seen here with shoes in the winter
* Vintage belt
* Rachel Roy drop earrings, vintage cross pendant necklace with stones, vintage & new bangles {my dailies} and a few gold stacking rings
* Vintage or cheapie sunglasses? I found these while cleaning out my closet ...honestly can't remember where they are from
* Sam Edelman lace up peep toe ankle boots ...these are from forever ago. Can't find them anywhere online at the moment. ...see them better here with ruffle socks
* Title: lyrics from Ozzy Osbourne & Lita Ford "Close My Eyes Forever" ...so amazing. come on. I was 13 when this song came out ...and in the 8th grade. I would wait and wait and wait for the video to play on MTV just to record it to my "Maeg's Videos" tape.
I love this dress ...I love the way it the material feels and the way it hangs ...however, i could not find a pair of underwear that weren't visible! It's not transparent in the least, it's just so clingy that any lines showed, and I wasn't about to go without. Also, it's not the type of dress you wear a slip or even Spanx under either. Not that I actually have any Spanx to speak of but I should probably get on that because I hear they work miracles!
...and then later, while in Sephora, I leaned over to grab a lip liner and simultaneously created two dots of concealer on my leg. Grrrrrrrr ....which hopefully won't stain forever because I actually really love this dress.

I think this is the loveliest outfit I've ever seen you in (and everything you wear is lovely). The color combination is quite striking - love the earthiness of the blazer and belt against the sky blue airiness of that dress. It reminds me of a desert painting. Anyway, you're just about the last person on this planet to need to wear Spanx. You are gorgeous!

I love me some spanx. I have so many different styles and pieces to wear under tight dresses! It's really ugly and grandmaish but works miracles. :-)
I love the colour of that dress - so perfect! Did you try seamless underwear (made from that really light material) as well? I always have problems with super clingy clothing and VPL and occasionally the seamless underwear will do the trick.

I wear the Victoria's Secret Bare Ultimate Wide-Side Thong when I need a completely seamless look. I have worn it successfully under skin tight spandex. ;-) Try it out!
