Some years I'm very festive and wear red, white, and blue from head to toe for the 4th. And some years I stick to a solid color or a simple and classic look and just accessorize with red or blue. It all depends on my mood, but I don't think I can go completely without a hint of patriotism or festiveness at the very least.

So cute!! (last photo) Love all of the styles!! Love the navy/white striped dress and the checked dress.....I have a red and white striped boat-neck top. Will wear with navy jeans/pants. I'm most likely doing a red and white stripe shirt with a jean skirt. BUT I may switch to an all white shirt if I can find the perfect chunky red necklace to pair with it. haha. I'm such a sucker for nautical.
Love the dog pic at the end!! LOL I'm a HUGE nautical fan - and my favorite is pairing it with gold bangels or my favorite silver & gold anchor necklace :) This 4th I'll be on the lake in 100+degree weather so I'm thinking it'll just be a quick slip dress that has navy & white stripes, nothing too fancy!
Also, I absolutely love every time you pull off the red,white & blue look - it's classic. So don't stop!

I like all the festive outfits that you posted, and I think I would totally go with something like nautical stripes and red (if I lived in the US)...since I am in Canada I think I might just go with red and white ;)
