WELL, if you follow me anywhere else but here, you'd know that I am sick. Have been sick since the beginning of this beautiful 3-1/2" day weekend. Have not enjoyed the beach or a lake or even our backyard pool. No, I've been inside with a sore throat, sneezing {or more, with the overwhelming sensation of needing to sneeze that suddenly just disappears, leaving me with a feeling beneath my face that makes me want to rip my skin right off to relieve it} and blowing my nose til it's as red as Rudolph's. It feels more like Christmas than the 4th of July. Bah Humbug to Summer colds!
I must admit though that this destruction of my immune system has allowed me ample time to absorb new inspiration that swirls my creative juices ...and no, I'm not referring to mucous, though it's there too. I must have "pinned" 3000 items this weekend, found a few new songs to finally create a "35" playlist with and because I have so much free time, decided to start posting daily again here ...which I sort of never admitted to being the owner of, though a few of you did figure it out.
And none of the above really has anything to do at all with the 4th of July or America in the least, but this blog is about my life, right? :)
I wish you all a joyous and safe and healthy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July Maegan! Hope you feel better soon! Being sick in the middle of the summer really sucks (I'm not helping here, so I'm gonna stop now) :)

Happy Independence Day! Hope you feel better asap. I was sick with what you have all last week and now my husband became infected with it just in time for the 4th of July long weekend. I really enjoy reading your blog. It's great!
I hate summer colds. My husband and I got one last week, one whole week in bed ! I hope you feel better real soon ! I will go see those pins now !!!
I love pinterest, I'm just not quiet sure how to start one of my own...
Happy 4th anyway! Hope you feel better soon. <3
Hope you feel better soon! Have to say, I'm not a fan of the photo you posted. The photoshopping is obvious, and she looks disturbingly skinny/fake.
aw man! you're sick on 4th of july? no fair. that's a big f*ck no to that.
hope you feel better! xoxo.
Hope you get feeling better - being sick sucks!!
At least it's normal and refreshing to sooth your throat with popsicles this time of year.
ugh, being sick on a holiday is the worst!! try aquafor on your little nosy to protect it from the kleenex!!
happy 4th of July, hope you feel better soon. I've been having an endless cough since this past winter, which my doctor says its allergy, so I can somewhat relate.
have not read your blog in ...uhm...maybe a year? glad to see that except for being horribly sick, you seem to be all happy with house projects. I was never sure EXACTLY why I liked your blog, but I too hate to cook, and hate all the take out containers ...and even though I am on the other coast, it takes me 35 mins to drive 8 miles and last week when I beeped at a guy driving 1 mph in the parking garage, after we parked on different floors, he ran over and started screaming at me like a wild man. I am not glamorous at all, but frequently picking out clothing and getting dressed is the only creative part of my day. I am sure your gallery appreciates how put together and artfully you are dressed- it is nice that you found a job that can pay you for that- really, it is a little bit of genius to get paid for an image that you like having anyway.
feel better!
Would you have any spare invites to Pinterest?
I have been on the waiting list since June and nothin' is happenin'
