Summer Nights Alright with You? I’ll Meet You in the Parking Lot

black and white dress brown sandals brown wooden beads

What I’m Wearing …out to a sports bar for dinner with the boys.
* Forever 21 black and white tribal dress …I think I bought this in 2008 haven’t worn it in a while but it’s always there when I need it {I adore the pockets}
* Vintage wood beads necklace was my Grandma’s …grabbed it at my mom’s last week
* Vintage and new bangles mixed
* Tom Ford cat eyes
* Louis Vuitton damier azur noe bucket bag
* Leather sandals from Spain

The sweet people behind Abarca Classic Sandals contacted me and asked if I’d like a pair. And while normally they aren’t quite my style, I kind of loved the idea of something a little different, something a little simpler on my feet. So they sent me this deep brown pair {my preference} and once I slipped my feet in them, I have to admit, I loved them. The leather is RIDICULOUSly soft on the soles and feels so good. I dunno what it is about them, but I love them. The best part, they’re $30 + $4.95 insurance to ship from Spain. I shall be wearing them all Summer.

* Title: lyrics from Florrie “Summer Nights”

Also, have I told you how much I love Summer. I’m trying desperately to soak up every minute of the Sun I can before it’s too late and we’re talking about what we’re going to wear for Fall.

    Upon seeing the sandals I virtually ran over to the site to get them. They charge $31 for the sandalds then $38 shipping!!!! I feel like I missed something.

    I like them but I have a firm policy no never paying more for shipping than the item. That is insanity.

    That said I love how they look on you and how great your whole outfit is. Great pulled together but comfy vibe I always strive for and you always make look so effortless

    Sigh, I’m so jealous of your summer. Our summer involves living in a furnace of 100 degree heat and humidity. Personally I’m counting down the days until winter!

    I am very jealous with this=) Summer here is not so good, it’s very hot and sweaty. I love the dress it looks so comfortable and makes your body breath through the summer heat but it was the little details that really makes it wonderful, the bag and the shoes really complimented on the whole look.

    I love the dress, I have one from F21 like that too. Haven’t worn it yet though!

    Do you have any “make it work” ideas for a t-shirt I bought that’s a little too small? I want to save the image on the front but I can’t think of how.

    Those sandals are very typical in Spain. I call them “menorquinas” because of the island of Menorca. I own green, blue and white ones and are the best shoes for loooong days.

    I’m happy you like them!
