Her whole world's come undone from lookin' straight at the sun

Vintage Floral Romper and studded leather choker

What I'm Wearing
* Vintage floral embroidered print romper ...though it has a faux skirt in the front with a side tie. I actually bought this almost a year ago and it's been hanging in the guest room closet with clothes that had returned from the dry cleaner. I don't recall trying it on when I found it so I kind of assumed it would be a bit snug. But I was wrong, and admittedly, I LOVE IT.
* Studded belt is wrapped around my neck as a choker of sorts & hoop earrings.
* Gucci classic stripe round cat eye sunglasses.
* YSL cognac platforms {Yves Saint Laurent "Essaouira" Platform Sandal}
* Cynthia Rowley burgundy tassel bag

* Title: lyrics from
Aerosmith - "Janie's Got A Gun" ...I LOVED this song & video in the 90's. Like would wait for the video to air on MTV just so I could record it loved it. And for some reason it's reminding me of the book "Go Ask Alice"... which I must have read 100 times when I was a tween/teen. Any other fans here? I kind of want to read it again, now, as an adult to see if I get the same thing out of it as I did when I was so young. I'm guessing no, but it would be a fun little experiment. I'm pretty sure it's not a true story or not but the idea of reading a drug addicted teenager's diary as a youth was exhilarating. I wonder if that's where my fear of drugs came from, well, only in part really, but I'm sure it didn't help. So if that's what it's main purpose was, it worked. Still, beyond the drugs, I felt like I had a secret look into a life that was beyond my imagination at the time.

Anyone going to Fashion's Night Out ~ Los Angeles? ...I think the husband and I will be there {Rodeo Drive/Beverly Center ...I think}.

Janie's Got a Gun? My favorite had-too-much-vodka-now-have-to-sing-like-an-idiot song.

. . . and I think I still have a copy of Go Ask Alice around somewhere.

I was just giving my (adult) nephew a MacBook Pro lesson and was showing him how to use google reader and he spotted your blog and exclaimed, "Who is she???? Is she single??" I had to say down boy. How cute right?

Love your studded belt/necklace!! I have several belts from the 70's that are too tight/small......I will try them on as necklaces! Now, I'll be looking/shopping for thin studded belts, even if they are too small or too large!! Thanks for this FAN-TASTIC idea!! I love your floral print romper! Lots of celebrities have been wearing rompers, too!! Well, YOU are a celebrity, for sure!! Have a "Sunny" week, "Sunshine"........
