Yes I overpack for everything... but we're driving so I can fill the car to the brim, right? Well that's my logic anyway. The difficulty with dressing emotionally is that I never know how I'm going to "feel" in any given moment so I have to be prepared in an event that I feel, I dunno, bloated or tired or saucy or broken down with a sore ankle. And I've never been to a blog conference and really have no idea what to expect.
So yeah, I'm taking 10 pairs of shoes for a three day trip, who cares. :)

Nice to know I'm not the only one who dresses by mood! There's just no telling what I'll want to wear tomorrow let alone in three or four days. It does lead to over packing, but whatever, right?!

I agree with curlyred. Your luggage is gorgeous. Also, I see no problem with bringing 10 pairs for shoes for 3 days. I was in a wedding last weekend so I had a quick overnighter in LA that I had to pack for. Even with the planned bridesmaid dress I brought 4 pairs of shoes, 2 rehearsal dinner outfits, and 2 lounging outfits because having options is somehow relieving to me. I stress out when I don't have any choices. Have fun in SD!

Well if you're driving theres not really a weight limit so why not and I completely understand the "feel" part! I never plan what I'm going to wear so pre planning and not having extra choice to my mind is frustrating!
