Oh Summer, why do you come and go so much faster than I'd like? I know I may be jumping the gun because it will be warm in LA until mid October but with football and fall fashion on the brink, the colder and darker months are looming. So with that in mind, I decided one last bright and fun Summer manicure would cheer me up and used my Martha Stewart crafty glitter glue again to get the job done. This may be one of my favorites yet!
* Two coats of OPI Cajun Shrimp polish
* Two coats of Martha Stewart Glitter glue in copper on ring fingers.
* Two coats of Chanel Extreme Shine lacquer over the glitter & just one coat over the rest.
And now for a copious amount of photos of my hands... I just can't help it

Gorgeous! Cajun Shrimp is one of my favorite OPI colors in the summer, and I always love having a glitter "accent" nail :)

I think that's very pretty, I love the colors you chose. And I'm not even into manicures ^^ Oh but don't talk about summer ending! It hasn't even been here yet, and I mean that in the truest sense of the word, summer has totally sucked here in Europe so far :-( I can't remember ever having such a bad July + August *sadface* I don't want it to end without having a few nice days to get me over the winter ;-)

I love, love, love Cajun Shrimp and I'm not a fan of the red tones. I've worn it on and off all summer on my toes. I need to find this glitter glue immediately!!! I haven't done an accent nail in a few months but I think I need a glittery one. :) Where did you find them?
P.S. Seeing your polish post makes me really wish I had better photography skills for the years I've been doing my goofy polish posts.

I love that color! Your mani looks great. It certainly doesn't have to be the last summer mani though! I'm not liking the reality that is setting in all around me lately..I'm not ready for the cold weather! Then again, I never am.

Ok I never thought of using those Martha Stewart glitter pens for that purpose but I'm running to the craft store after work to pick a pack up! haha
My fav mani right now is having a fun pattern on the ring and thumb nails and the other nails painted in a complimentary color. Right now I'm sporting leopard print nail art on my ring and thumb nails and Urban Decay's Psychedelic Sister {which looks a lot like Cajun Shrimp actually} on the other nails. LOVE!
cajun shrimp is one of my favorite, favorite OPI colors!

Love it! I did this for the 4th of July, with all red nails except white on my ring fingers and I really liked how it looked! Your hands photograph well, I have man hands, LOL.

You MUST MUST MUST try the Sally Hansen nail polish stickers if you haven't yet! I did them this weekend and they are awesome!! Super easy to put on, look fantastic still and if you are careful (which is easy) you can use one strip on two nails!!!

LOVE! I, too, recently did what I considered my last summer manicure... bright yellow nails with a hot, sparkly pink french tip. So fun, but the same as you... fall fashion everywhere, school starting next week, and football just on the horizon just makes me feel like summer is over, le sigh...
