Guest Bathroom Decor Details

dried pink peony

I kind of love our tiny fern-wallpapered 1/2 bathroom off the Laundry Room. It's kind of creepy in a silly way and it makes me laugh. I like things that make me laugh. The boys who come over seem to prefer this bathroom; they always choose it over the beachy brick one. I think they like the confined space... just a theory ;)

I realized I did a "before" post over a year ago and never did an "after" post. I guess I never felt like it was quite finished but nevertheless thought I'd share with you some of the details.

I love how it's got this Victorian macabre feel to it with the skulls, dried flowers, and photos (plus book on the living and the dead). I can see why the boys would prefer it!

I love all of the dried flowers. My flowers never dry right and I end up throwing them out..

I cannot wait to start decorating our house! What a cool bathroom - I like ones that are little unusual.

Relatable Style

Traditionally styled fixtures and fittings are featured in a wide range of prices so it's possible to achieve a high-end look without paying a fortune. Savvy homeowners who might not have the budget for a marble floor, say, can opt for faux-marble ceramic tiles and still get the look.
