What I'm Wearing
* Vintage geo print blouse was my grandma's {one of my faves} label says SAKS ... last seen here with pink as well.
* Miguelina pink swing tank worn under
* Victoria's Secret boyfriend jeans {actually the "Ultra Sexy Skinny Jean" which I bought a size too big so they'd fit like BF jeans} seen here
* Jami Rodriguez earrings, mixed vintage & new bangles
* Chloe sunglasses
* Carlos Santana Whirl ankle wedges {which are more fabulous than I ever expected them to be!}
I need a new black bag...
* Title: lyrics from Toto "Africa"... come on, you know you love this song.
How fun was Project Runway last night?!? Heidi had a few zingers & Michael Kors is just the best. It's not always what he says but it's how he says it that has me laughing out loud and rolling around my bed {my DVR'd shows are in the Master Bedroom, where LeRoy and I can enjoy them in peace, he LOVES Gossip Girl}. I was happy with the winner... and I won't name names for those of you who haven't watched it yet but I LOVED it. However, I have to admit that I didn't mind the pink dress and pockets as much as Michael Kors did... exclaiming she could "use them to hold a beer in one pocket and a piece of cake in the other". Dying.
Oh happy day, it's Friday! My cousin's bridal shower is this weekend so that's what will be consuming my Saturday afternoon... what to wear, what to wear? Any big plans for your weekend? I feel like there's something I have to do that I'm totally forgetting. I hope not.

This outfit is fantastic today! Loving everything possible about it : )
I wouldn't have thought to layer those two shirts, but I love it!
Toto = amazing : )
Michael really has the best comments on PR - I still can't figure out what he meant by making the dress out of a wet-nap!
you look fantastic! The shoes are gorgeous! :D kiss
a) Toto? ROCKS. You KNOW I loves me some Toto.
2) Project Runway winner? I have to disagree. I mean, the outfit they put together was adorable, but I liked the other one in the top two better, plus I'm not crazy about the attitude. As for pink dress? I felt terrible for the poor girl wearing it when they were critiquing. I didn't think it was a winner, but I didn't think it was that terrible either. I TOTALLY agree about Michael Kors - he needs his own show. His one liners even crack The Hubs up.
c) Your shoes? I need. True story.
Happy Friday!
Shannan
wow the shoes are so nice ♥
Love the sleeves on the geometric top! Those booties are amazing!
Those shoes are FABulous!
And whoever doesn't love "Africa" by Toto.. just hasn't heard it because it's not possible. Love the geometric patterns and the soft pink!
Love the geo shirt!

Yes yes to the shoes! They're good.
That blouse is amazing!! Your grandma had the best stuff. Those wedges are super gorgeous! I'm usually not an ankle strap fan, but it is so right on this shoe!!
I loved last night's episode; I fell over laughing when Michael Kors made the beer in the pocket comment. I really loved all of the top 3 outfits so much. I was super smitten with the little black dress and full high waist skirt.
Love the tank underneath - it makes such a cute little ruffle!

Father Time haha :-) ,, (Leland Sklar) is one of the most steady bass players ever ..- Steady in that his playing is so solid, smooth and in pocket, - Steady in that he has been recorded on so many albums for so long ,, his discograhpy is 10 times as long as his beard. If you have listened to pop radio at all thru the 70's 80's 90's, then you have surely heard him on something .
