Pretty Ponytail Twist Hair Tutorial

sleek twisted ponytail hair tutorial -side

I actually created and planned this hair tutorial last week then randomly watched the Elie Saab Spring Couture show and realized my creation was a very similar style to the hair worn in the show. And though it is gorgeous, it wasn't my original inspiration but I felt a bit obligated to refer to it.

I'm actually so happy with this pretty new style. It's casual yet sophisticated and would be just as pretty as a guest at a wedding as it would on a romantic dinner date with the husband. My version is soft and a little loose and fairly easy and really pretty {and husband approved ;}

* What I used for this tutorial:
* Scunci No-slip Grip Evolution Jelly Ponytailers
* Clear plastic Magic hair pin
* Small bobby pins

* See what my regular ponytail looks like here

* Nails: wearing Sephora by OPI "Chestnuts About You" as seen here. I'm loving this color right now. It's almost a sparkly nude, and elongates the fingers and is just soft and pretty and flattering rather than distracting. Sometimes you need that in a manicure.

* See more of my office and desk here, which is the backdrop of this video.

* Gerard Yosca turquoise earrings. The rest of this outfit to come tomorrow.

Why the hell did I cut my hair last month? It was so long, now it's impossible for me to wear such a pony tail. :(

So lovely! I've done the style where I left the crown out and then wrapped it around the ponytail (sort of did it by accident once and thought "Ohhh I like that") but I love the added bonus of pinning down the ponytail. You are beautiful as well!

Love this...so pretty and romantic...I think a little messy is better! I wish I had you hair...mine is long, but super fine and bobby pins always slip out of my hair. I am gonna give this a whirl. We will see! Thanks again!

LOVED the tutorial, it was perfectly edited and that ponytail is so so pretty! I adore that nail color, can't wait to pick it up.

What a fun, fun tutorial. It was like hanging out in a girlfriend's room doing hair. I can't wait to try this with my hair. I might be persuaded to not chop it all off if I can make it look half as cute as yours. Thanks for the video!! You are now a favorite. I'll be looking to you for more inspiration. :)
