The late designer Alexander McQueen's collections are always more of a walking art exhibit to me than ready to wear or even couture fashion. Though the dress above, sans all the extras, is pure perfection! His creativity is beyond amazing, but not so much wearable for the everyday woman. The latest collection for the brand is no exception. Gorgeous in mostly black, white, grays and pinks, my personal favorite colors, are dresses, coats, and shoes, furry and ruffled and feathered and adorned... and frankly just fabulous. Below are the amazingly unwearable unless you're Lady Gaga or Daphne Guinness shoes from the 2012 Fall collection... which I'd proudly display in my office as sculpture than dare even ruin the soles!

Apart from looking impossible to walk in, funny that they didn't give the models pedicures, huh?
They all look like hooves, IMO. They will likely trend this summer or next spring, or some version thereof. I find them a little offensive despite myself, and I am so NOT the type of person easily offended by ludicrous fashion and sexist advertising. But, yes. A little annoyed by them.
I like the dress, but the shoes, not so much.
I like the shoes, but is it really possible to walk in them? :)

Crazy shoes, but I agree with Kristin Hankins they should have had these girls get a pedi before showcasing their amazing new shoes, it distracts from it, and I am not even someone who freaks about peoples feet, but it is a lil off putting when they put so much time into the makeup youd think they would do the same for the toes
These shoes are impossible to wear! I'm not Lady Gaga. Beijos, Nanda / http://ararafashion.blogspot.com
Have you seen the soles of the shoes? All the Fall 2012 shoes were adorned with a horseshoe: http://redcfa.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/McQueen-Resee-5.jpg
Apparently the models said these were the most comfortable McQueen shoes they've worn.
The lavendar and hot pink are my faves. How fun are those!
