After creating this manicure the other day, it occurred to me that I may have seen a similar technique on Consider Me Lovely's Instagram feed. It wasn't until a day after I painted my nails though that I realized I may have seen it elsewhere, though I'm still not completely sure. That's how inspiration works I suppose ;) But to get on with it, I really love this manicure. Both colors are equally as vivid {as are my blue toes} and I love looking down at them while I'm working at my desk... or well, doing anything really. This peach may be more of a coral but it borderlines on neon once applied & has a smidge of shimmer... not so much of an accent nail manicure but just as fun.
There's no real tutorial with this manicure except that you paint your thumb, middle, & ring fingers in one color then your pinky & pointer with the other, and alternate it on the other hand. It's simple, but effective without actually needing to add any nail art, design, or glitter. A quiet boldness I suppose.

* Sephora by OPI "How Cute is That?"
* Sephora by OPI "Iris I Was Thinner" {freebie size!}
* Essie "Good to Go" top coat {my new favorite!}
*NOTE: colors may appear darker & more vivid in reality.

Apologies for the seemingly gratuitous ring & bracelet shots.

Have Fun!

Love how you did this! It looks great! I wish I could be so handy with the nail polishes :)

Looks so cute. I am horrible at painting my nails. I haven't posted anything like that on my own blog because you'd see all the unintentional "texture" that's been added to my polishing job. Pretty sad.

Such pretty colors! I am not the hugest fan of pastels but these shades are more bold than Easter. So pretty!

I have done something similar, but certainly inspiration is everywhere! I love this color combo, and the accent nails on the ring and middle finger, so I shall be using that soon :-).
Very cute nail polish - love your bracelets ;)!!
i LOVE this color combo. i did a color block mani with coral and purple a while back but lately i've been stuck on the ring finger mani. must change it up soon! =)

I love both of these colors and I love alternating nails!
very nice colours!
This is a great color combination... good job!
I've been thinking about doing this recently but alternating every other nail seemed a little... eh. Now I shall try every two nails.
You are a revolutionary.
I know this post was primarily about the nails but my eyes went straight to those bracelets! So unique and gorgeous. I love them!!
