What I'm Wearing
* Vintage wool coat, late 50's... seen here belted with a dress in 2009
* Chaiken wool pants, cuffed... last seen here with beige {& still a favorite outfit of mine}
* Bow blouse by Walter... similar Walter blouse here
* Black and red gemstone necklace I bought in NYC in 1997
* Shandon Donegal Tweed newsboy cap... seen here *More newsboy caps here
* Cheapy round sunglasses
* Kate Spade gray leopard print bow pumps
* Kate Spade red crocodile tote bag... GILT
Speaking of handbags, really quick {and I wrote this on my Facebook wall over the weekend} but have any of you rented a bag from Bag Borrow or Steal? I contemplate it often, even if only to use for outfit posts {because how fun?} but I never end up doing it ... Thoughts? ... Anyone?
* Minty green speckled nails.
* Title: lyrics from Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know. This is my favorite song of the moment. It's on continual loop over here. [and I just watched the video for the first time which is kind of fantastic as well]
If someone told me that my future self would one day be watching a zombie drama on television and enjoying it, I would have laughed in disbelief and denied it. But it is my truth. The Walking Dead is such a good show and last night's finale was a fantastic ending to a great season, leaving us in anticipation of all to come in Season 3. For one thing, who was that caped woman with armless walkers on chains?!? AMC is kind of a genius though because with the end of The Walking Dead comes the beginning of MAD MEN {scream!} which takes precedence over the loss of one great show BECAUSE WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER FOR MAD MEN!!! I don't have too much free time these days but the husband and I do spend time on the weekends catching up on all of our DVR'd shows we miss during the week. And cuddling, of course ;)

Listen to this cover!!!
Love your 50's coat! Where exactly are you storing all of your retro outfits? (Too many in one house)..... OMGosh.....Now I'll have to look in thrift shops/consignment stores for a fabulous 50's coat! Yours is in such excellent condition. Have a fan-tastic week, Sunshine!
Love the Gotye song too!
These pictures are so lovely...
Shoes!!! ... Can't stop looking at them, they are the cutest feminine touch to the look! The pop of red could not be more appropriate!

You would know exactly who the woman with the armless walkers is, if you bothered to read the comic (which is good) instead of watching the show (which is bad)
I love love love The Walking Dead (I was on the edge of my seat last night)!! I'm also obsessed with Somebody That I Used to Know (randomly listened to it this morning a few times), but I first heard Walk Off the Earth's cover - which is amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9NF2edxy-M
It's rainy and cold in Texas today, so I'm definitely coveting your wool coat!
Love this outfit, especially the cap! :)

I love the bag and the coat so much!
Hmm... I've never seen that show. I think zombies would give me a nightmare and I'm not sure I'm up for that, even if it's good!
LOVE this outfit. The shape of your sunglasses is so gorgeous and that bag is awesome!
love the red statement bag!
You are doing a great job here, i´ll be back soon.
1st off...I love this look! Totally chic! 2nd I love The Walking Dead!! Last night's finale was awesome. I've read the comics and the show is kind of on the same path...not much. I can't wait until next season.
Love this look, the trousers are so cute rolled up. And I love your nail polish!
ANND I love the Gotye song - never gets old :)

I love how prim and ladylike this outfit is.
Gilt is AMAZING! As is Kate Spade. So Gilt + Kate Spade? A match made in heaven.
