Classic with a 50's & 60's Twist

A little over the top and a little costume-y... and I know we're heading into Summer BUT I'm just loving the DSQUARED2 Fall/Winter 2012 Collection and had to share. Though many of the pieces are easy classic separates, it's a great mix of 50's and 60's fashion & styles with a modern and edgy twist. There are certainly great elements to pull inspiration from for all seasons. And though I think this term is completely overused at the moment, I'm obsessed with the floor length blue coat, the thick furry striped oversized sweater, the pencil skirt with the tiny pink ribbon bow and the evening gowns at the end with feather peplums!

I LOVE the 3rd one! It looks so comfy but still nice and put-together. Definitely something I would wear.

Love, love your choices! Wish I had some of my dear mom's fashions. I've been watching MeTV and enjoying the fashions on "That Girl" (Cardinalli Fashions). Happy Weekend, Sunshine!

I love the hairstyles from back then! I always wonder how they were able to get their hair so high! I can't do that with my own hair :(
