My New Favorite Jeans Accompanied by The Biggest Bun I've Ever Seen

What I'm Wearing
* Joe's Jeans The Skinny Micro Flare c/o of Shopbop these are my new favorite jeans. I'm excited for the return of the floor-length style with a bit of a flare because they are wildly flattering to this particular set of legs and butt ;) Check out all of Joe's Jeans styles at Shopbop
* White t-shirt is VS "pink"
* Various bangles, gold & diamond branch bracelets, Hermes double wrap leather bracelet from a Beyond the Rack vintage sale {Giles & Brother has a similar design}, white Kenneth Cole watch from GILT, Privileged Charm Bracelet
* Tiffany pendant necklace, oval hoops and various rings.
* Tom Ford cat eye sunglasses
* Rebecca Minkoff MAB in gray
* Charles Jourdan white/ankle strap/snakeskin heels {I have them in black too... love them}

* nails

My Jeans and White T Challenge has been over for a few months now but it's just such a great go-to outfit that works so often, I couldn't resist wearing it last Saturday for my very busy day. That morning, I had a shoot with a model for my book {which I styled & photographed} and left with straight hair... then downtown to another shoot, where I was the model {details to come, though I mentioned it here}. When I returned home, still in full hair and makeup, I had my husband take my outfit shots for this post before leaving for a quick bite & then more work.

BUT How HUGE IS THIS BUN!??! I love it - - though my husband told me it was so big that it looked like a hair hat, lol! Erica from ten. eleven. makeup used a sock to create this ginormous bun on the very top of my head and I was actually surprised by how weightless it was given the heaviness of my hair and a rolled up sock underneath it all. I've been asked so many times to do a sock bun tutorial but haven't for two reasons: 1. I have so much hair that I don't really need the help and 2. So many others have already done tutorials on it, I figured it was unnecessary. However, having it actually done to my hair, I can see the benefits of it now. In the coming Summer months, I'll hopefully be doing a few hair tutorials because I'll finally have some free time {yay!} so if you'd like me to do one for this, just let me know and I will.

* false eyelashes + airbrushed foundation/blush/highlighter *

Happy Tuesday!

Yes please to the sock bun tutorial!

It's true there are tons of them already out there but I still don't manage to hide the sock completely. My hair is long and rather thick so that cannot be the problem. Any tricks would be very much appreciated :-)

Sheesh - reading back, that sounds so stalkery, but I assure you, I mean it in the most non-stalkery way possible. Have a good day, mama!

I did a big ole bun tutorial today, oddly enough. My hair won't stay in the sock, so I used a bun maker.
I don't think I've ever seen you smile so much in a post before! I like it, indeed.

You look amazing, Maegan! Just out of curiosity, was a Temptu used for your airbrushed makeup? I've been considering buying it from Sephora - there are a zillion positive reviews, but one more from a trusted source wouldn't hurt ;-) Whatever the case, it looks fantastic!

And P.S. - I'd love to see your sock bun tutorial!

Maegan, I need these jeans! I have never had joes jeans before and I am between sizes 26-27 on Hudson jeans and 7s for a reference. If you were me, what size would you recommend on the joes?? Thanks so much!
