What I’m Wearing
Simple but dressed up…
* Little Black Dress by Mara Hoffman …I found it a few years ago at GILT
* Black suede and silver ankle strap heels by Jean-Michel Cazabat – and so comfy
* Alexander Wang wristlet {my new favorite “take everywhere” baglet}
It was really too hot for extra jewelry or accessories in Palm Springs, so I kept it simple and let the dress do all the work.
Casual look…
* Avarcas sandals
* Theyskens’ Theory bag
* Hat from a little hat shop in Palm Springs
This is one of my favorite dresses and it seems that I bring it on every vacation we ever go on. It’s perfect for summer evenings with the sheer sleeves and floaty layers. It’s flattering because it hides my sometimes bulky arms, has a nice V drop down to a defined waist, then flares out and is the perfect length to cover the larger parts of my legs and show off the good parts 😉 It’s flattering all the way around… I have it in teal too but I tend to like less “loud” colors in general. I sometimes forget I have it but it’s one of those great dresses that makes you feel good when nothing else does. I actually wore it out again to a birthday dinner after we returned from vacation last Friday.
* Seen here last year at BlogHer and here in Vegas

Happy Tuesday!
