Using a purple tinted shampoo on my blonde hair was one of the best tricks I found for keeping my color bright instead of brassy and shimmery instead of flat. I swear by it. Until now, I've used a cocktail of shampoos to achieve a balanced look and feel. Shimmer Lights by Clairol has been my purple shampoo of choice, but it's so drying that I like to mix it with other shampoos so my hair didn't look and feel like straw coming out of the shower.
Recently I was introduced to Blondeshell Keratin Complex, a purple shampoo & conditioner, said to debrass and brighten my blonde tresses, while strengthening and nourishing my hair to boot. I was excited to try it considering all Keratin Complex treatments and styling products are specially formulated to contain natural keratin protein, which rebuilds, restores and rejuvenates all types of hair. I thought this may be my answer to my very drying alternative, and it was. I've been using it for about two weeks now and love it. I even love the scent, which makes me feel like I've just had a salon visit without sitting in the chair for 4 hours.
I was sent a handful of other fabulous products to try as well but since I don't usually use products on my hair other than shampoo and conditioner, I haven't gotten around to trying them just yet. But I'll let you know when I do. I love finding and sharing new and fabulous products that actually do what they're supposed to!
If you're not sure where to buy Blondeshell Keratin Complex locally, you can find the products online at Keratin Complex.

* And for non-blondes, because I don't like to leave anybody out, Keratin Complex has a fabulous collection of shampoos & conditioners for all types of hair.

Yay! I've been looking for a new purple shampoo - going to order it now! :)
Sounds amazing! I used "Ultra Blonde Shine" purple shampoo and it was awful, did nothing and made my hair feel terrible. I will try this out!
By the way, your hair looks incredible, so thick and long!
xx
yes, i use purple shampoo too, from pureology. but these are much cheaper, i will check them out once my pureology runs out!
ok so i have heard that these purple shampoos are fabulous for highlighted blondes like myself...so i ran out and bought some (a different brand) and i SWEAR to you my hair looked brassier than ever after using it so i threw it away! but now you make me want to give this one a try! =) maybe it has something to do with the fact that my hair is really grey...lol.

I didn't know the tip about purple shampoo, thanks for sharing! My hair is doing the un-initial ombre look so I need to get my roots fix.
