What I'm Wearing
* Leaf print full skirt from Forever21 years ago... see it here in 2009* Vintage peachy/rust blouse, tied/knotted... seen here as an overshirt
* Panama hat from a little hat shop in Palm Springs ... also seen here
* Vintage green rhinestone necklace and bracelet
* Joseph Mimi rings
* Gucci large cat eye sunglasses
* Pour la Victoire green wedge sandals {love these} totally comfy... they have other colors too ... on sale for $157 ... I think I got them on GILT
Honestly, it's been so hot lately, I find it challenging to wear anything at all... and catch myself ripping off items as soon as they touch my skin. When I'm home working, I'm living in tiny tanks and my husband's boxer briefs... I know, glamorous, huh? It's all I can muster up the energy for. I do love this outfit though. It's a little urban safari with jewels... and reminds me of an Indiana Jones movie. I dunno... but the hint of high midsection I was showing offered a cool breeze vent while keeping age appropriate, in my opinion anyway. From certain angles though, the wedges feel very youthful and remind me of these sandals I wore as a kid {without the grandpa feeling, lol}.

I agree - the perfect amount of age appropriate midriff - I always feel more comfortable showing the higher part too!

Love the sandals! I always think of Pour La Victorie as having all very high heels (which I can't manage) but these wedges look perfect.
Lovely outfit!
The outfit is cute. I also wish we had a problem of being too hot. Alas, that never happens in England. :(

Indiana Jones for sure, but way better! Love the coral and green combo - I usually do coral and turquoise, but I shall rotate green in there :)
