Live in Pink this October for Breast Cancer Awareness

What I'm Wearing...

* Pink scalloped hem dress by AKA from 2009... also seen here worn a bit shorter {a favorite!}
* Chambray pinned in the back c/o Madewell... seen here with jeans
* Vintage leopard print belt came with this dress.
* Vintage snakeskin clutch.
* Kenneth Cole watch and branch bracelets
* Pewter lace ups by Chelsea Crew from an ideeli sale ($28!!!) here's an invite if you need.
* Gucci ~ youngster cat eye sunglasses.

* Necklace: Giuliana Rancic for LOFT & Breast Cancer Research... I'M GIVING ONE AWAY HERE

I'm wondering if I should maybe try to wear pink all month, well, in each outfit post maybe? It's a thought. A thought I do kind of like, but we are in Lake Arrowhead today driving around and looking at real estate. And I'll let you know what I decide on the whole pink idea in my next outfit post I suppose. But for now, back to being a tourist... can't wait to share, of course ;)

Also, it's so ridiculously hot in LA right now we are all melting...

I really like how you pinned the shirt! It gives it more structure and not like you just threw it on.. I'm going to try that! My grandmother and aunt are both Breast Cancer survivors so I really love your idea of wearing pink.

You're killin' it in that scalloped dress. I love the whole outfit, really. Thanks for being supportive of research for breast cancer. It's uber important that women stand up and give their all in any way they can to help out our sisters in arms... and boobies.

Oooh, scallops, so fun! I like the idea of pink for October, even if it's just in a small detail like a bag or jewelry.

I hope you share pics of your touristing/house hunting in Lake Arrowhead. I loved the last house post.

How did you pin your jacket like that? Looks awesome and I love the pink! I have very little pink in my wardrobe but I have a pink clutch I always use during the whole month. My grandmother had a double mastectomy because she had breast cancer - she also recovered from lung and ovarian as well! She's my inspiration that life is always worth fighting for!

Oh my! I flipping love your shoes! They are the sort of shoes I would lament over for a few hours before actually buying them in the store, then bring home and feel a bit unsure about.
But they work sooo well! Thanks for sharing :) Off to find myself some shoes just like those!

I don't know. I feel the same way. I think brain, lung, pancreatic, ovarian cancers and leukemia should get awareness too.

normally cancer is more likely to appear if known in a family at the second generation and ur the first generation after ur mother... anyway go see a doctor and make a test cause now they can tell you this things.
