What I'm Wearing...
* Plaid pants ~ Juicy Couture {which I LOVE} c/o Shopbop ~ Seriously, new faves! {I'm always a sucker for a great pair of plaid pants, I can't help it}* Navy blouse ~ Green Label c/o Jigsaw London last year {see me wearing it here}
* Cropped band/military jacket by Gryphon... which I scored via GILT last year or the year before & this is my first time wearing it. Love. I think it must be inspired by this Dries Van Noten jacket with gold emboidery
* Body harness chain was sent to me from Lone Wolf Accents... and I love it too.
* Vintage sunglasses... gold hoop earrings... Joseph Mimi rings
* DIY gold sequin and gem bejeweled embellished pumps {click the link for the full DIY}
* Hair: low pony twist {would you like a hair tutorial or is it self-explanatory?} with fur elastic {which I've had forever}
* Nails: Bejeweled jewel tones manicure
I'm kind of in love with this outfit. I'm not sure what it is about it, but I love it. There are so many pieces in it that I love; when usually my outfits contain maybe only one favorite item, this has a handful. And in theory, it all sounded like too much, but when I put it on, it kind of worked out fabulously. I can't help it, it's a fave. I almost wish I wore different sunglasses with it though... this vintage pair isn't quite right.
I just realized last night that it's the middle of October and I have yet to put up one Halloween decoration. I usually have an entire cemetery out in our front yard by now but I've been so busy and distracted with the house situation that I've completely forgotten about it. It's on my to-do list this week.

Hi Maegan
Gorgeous outfit.Love the body chain.
I noticed your rings a while ago as Labradorite is found mostly in Labrador,Canada.
'According to an Inuit legend,the Northern Lights were once imprisoned in the rocks along the coast of Labrador. It is told that a wandering Inuk warrior found them and was able to free most of the lights with a mighty blow of his spear. Some of the lights were still trapped within the stone, and thus we have today the beautiful mineral known as labradorite.'
A beautiful story and you can think of the Aurora Borealis when you wear your rings.

Those pants! Love!

Love, love plaid. I'll have to find some plaid items that I've saved. One is a pink/cranberry plaid pair of pants in faux wool that I've had forever. Thanks for reminding me.........
I can see why you love it so much - I DO TOO! you look incredible and, like you say, it should be too much but it just isn't - just a smorgasborg of wonderfulness :)

Plaid pants make me think of Mad Men. I want a pair so bad, I keep hoping someone's grandma will drop some off at Goodwill for me but no luck yet :) I can't wait to see what else you pair yours with, strange as it sounds I think plaid pants could be very versatile.
this jacket is perfection, amazing shoes.
