I have to admit that I didn't own any shapewear until BlogHer offered to let me try out Rachel Zoe’s “Major Must Haves” from Jockey. It's not that I don't necessarily need it but I never actually think of it as an option. If a dress doesn't look good on me when I try it on, I just don't buy it. If my lady lumps happen to show through the fabric of a garment, I'll pass on it. On a day to day basis, I don't really want to feel constricted in tight clothing either, so it was just not an option for me. However, there are certain times of the month {ahem} that my lady lumps are lumpier than usual and absolutely nothing in my closet feels like it fits right, so I was excited to try Rachel Zoe’s “Major Must Haves” from Jockey shapewear and OMG, DIE!, I love it.
I think of the days that my pencil skirts are lumpier on the sides than I'd like them to be and rather than covering them up with a long blazer or cardigan, I can instead opt to wear the Slip Shaper underneath to smooth out my lumps from the inside out. What I really love about this shapewear is that it's made with soft cotton where it's not "shaping" your curves. The pieces stay put while only giving you the support where you need it. The soft cotton also keeps it from squeezing areas that don't need to be squeezed and creating more unnecessary lumps. So on a daily basis, these would be totally comfortable to wear.
Rachel Zoe is a trusted household name at this point, so I'm bound to try anything she puts her stamp on.

It’s not just about what we wear on the outside – what’s underneath is just as important. The adorable bottoms offer a “cheeky” cut with very modern silhouettes. Each style is available in eye-catching solids and on-trend prints with fabrications that include microfiber modal. Their nylon and spandex guarantee comfort, and the feminine detailing, such as touches of lace, adds a flirty flair.
Rachel Zoe’s “Major Must Haves” from Jockey are available now in major retailers, Jockey outlet stores, and on Jockey.com.
Want to try it out? Leave a comment below telling me about a time when you wish you'd worn shapewear, and you'll be automatically entered for a chance to win a $100 Jockey gift card!

I wish i was wearing shape wear when I accidentally wore a see through dress to a friend's wedding! Never just look at yourself in a bathroom mirror.. The sun changes everything. OY.
Oh grreat pieces, I love the (tummy) shorts.

How about the time I wore the WRONG shapewear...causing my lady lumps to spill out even more than they did before! The horror!! In my opinion, good shapewear is worth it's weight in gold!
When I went to a wedding and wore a silk dress & needed shape wear..
Under all the pretty sweater dresses - why do they show all the lumps?
I wish I had worn a shaper with a stretch pencil skirt. I happened to get a back glance and OMG! DIE! LOL.
I would LOVE to win this. It's not that I need it for everyday, so I've held off buying the super expensive brands. Maybe Rachel Zoe (and I love her, too)has found an alternative that is affordable and actually works! I've got a skirt that every time I put it on I take it right back off because of those unfortunate lumps.
Last year at law prom!
That one time when I saw a gorgeous dress on sale at Saks Fifth Avenue (and it was my size and in a flattering color!) but I didn't risk buying it because I didn't have a good piece of shapewear to go with it! I still have dreams about that dress. Sob.

I wish I wore shapewear under a white summer dress I have. I didn't realize it was a little see through until it was too late!
Everyday after giving birth - LOL - things are nice and trim now, but that first 6 months post partum - Whoa - shape wear would have been a God send!

I could use shapewear for all the lovely, thin dresses hanging in my closet that I no longer feel comfortable in post pregnancy :(
I'm pretty sure that there have been numerous "see through" moments in which in should have been wearing shape wear underneath and I too pass on all things that show lumps. It would be nice to be able to buy something that I love & not worry about the fit.
Wish I had this shaper with the pencil skirt I wore to work. OMG!!!
Most days, I feel pretty good about my body and then there are those days when it seems like two ferrets have lost control beneath my skirt. Of course it would be a day when I have to give a presentation and I have to make that long walk up t the podium. I often wondered if the audience is paying attention to what I'm saying or the imagined action that's happening beneath my skirt. Having shapewear would make me feel more confident at times like this.
not one time, but a whole year - the year after giving birth. I didn't lose the weight very easily.
Don't you get sick of writing sponsored posts? We sure do get sick of reading them! Go back to how your blog used to be.. more lifestyle and less shoving products down our throats.
i can not believe you do not own spanx...i mean... i would die without mine! after having a c-section, i can not get rid of my "pouch". well, i guess i could cut back on my candy addiction but prob not gonna happen. i'd love to give these RZ/Jockey pieces a try!!! although my husband HATES when i wear them and says it makes my butt look flat"er"....nice. =) i'd rather have a flat butt than my cellulite butt. ok...clearly i have said more than enough...lol.

I have been searching for some comfortable shapewear!

I wish I had worn shapewear to a recent job interview. I wore a wrap dress that is a little clingier than is flattering! (everything else suitable was at the dry cleaner!)
I wish I had worn shapewear to my wedding ; seriously, i didn't think I really needed it but some of the pics show my little belly. :p not so great. :p
Now that I hit menopause, I'm needing some shapewear for this poochy tummy I'm getting.
Looking back at photos from a family reunion this past summer, I really wish I had been wearing shapewear!
I'd love to try it, always in the market for better shape wear!
Neat! I want to try!

Wish I had the slip shaper for my wedding. Would have been perfect under my sheath style dress.
looking back at my friend's wedding photos, i definitely needed some shapewear!
Everytime I go to a fancy event and want to wear a bodycon dress, I han it up sadly. Wish I had some shapewear!
I once bought this super cute "bodycon" dress that I had saved up to wear for a BIG first date and the day before the date I get my period and just felt like a huge whale. I wanted to wear my dress and feel like my best self...so I cancelled the date! I wish I had shapewear then! We ended up going on another date and I wore my dress! Things didn't work out with him...but I still have my dress, so the shapewear would be nice so I could wear it again!
LOVE!

i think i might need to try it. like you, if an outfit doesn't look great, i just don't buy it. but this could open up many more possibilities!
and I CANNOT STAND SPANX. they hurt! i just can't wear them! so maybe this would be a good alternative!
I wish I had been wearing shapewear on a night out in the city I had with friends recently. It would have made my outfit more flattering.

Anyone ever told you that you remind them of Fergie? I think so. Always have. You writing "lady lumps" just reminded me I now HAD to tell you.
PS Did I read you need an assistant? Probably someone that comes to your house right? What about an online assistant? I'd also be your agent!

I wish I had worn them every time I've gone into a dressing room!
I wish I'd worn shapewear the last time I went shopping for an occasion dress. My belief in what can and can't be done with spandex is not always accurate.
Thanks for the chance!
Whoops- I'm the above comment- didn't let me leave contact information.

I can't really say when I wished I wore shapewear, as I wear it almost every day! I would love to try these jockey pieces, as I'm always looking for better shaping camis, most of them ride up too much for comfort.
I wish I'd had shapewear for my senior prom. it was about 10 years ago and I felt like I couldn't wear anything because of how skimming my bias cut dress was.
I went to a business dinner a few years back and the dress I wore, definitely needed shapewear.
Didn't look too bad, but I was not comfortable the entire night. jslbrown_03 at yahoo dot com

those "tummy shorts" actually look really appealing. i made a pair of my own to wear under skirts, but they're getting worn out...these look like a great alternative!

I have a cute sweater dress that's still hanging in my closet unworn because it accentuates my tummy bulge. Some shapewear would solve that!
shapewear would have been great for post-baby date nights

I would love to try her shapewear. I actually was going to purchase some shapewear soon. Mine is all worn out and old.
Oh how I wish I would've had shapewear for when I was maid of honor in my sisters wedding.. I had an injury earlier that year and gained some weight from immobility that I just couldn't get off. Felt like a whale squeezed into my top-small bridesmaid dress!
I once went to a wedding and wore a very slinky dress. I was pretty young and fit at the time but shapewear certainly would have enhanced my assets.

I wish I had been wearing shapewear, post-baby at my son's Kindergarten Graduation. I was wearing this really cute jersey wrap-dress, but when I passed a window at the school I realized that I looked like a Shar-pei in a dress.
When we baptized my son in 1991. Don't know what I was thinking wearing a dress
