#MondayMotivation // Make Shit Happen

you did not wake up today to be mediocre

There’s something really kind of fun about hating Mondays.

Most of us have it in common, so we’re all on the same page at least two days a week… because, Friday, obviously. So we have these things that unite us, if nothing else, and it makes us feel like we’re all in it together, right?

But why do we have to unite over something that’s negative? Can we flip it and make it positive instead?

Even though I work every day of the week, Monday-Wednesdays are definitely my busiest, and yours too, probably. But I actually LIKE working… does that sound ridiculous? I like being busy. I like being creative. I like getting shit done. And Mondays are the first day of a new week to start fresh and really make it all happen… and that’s pretty amazing when you think about it.

So I’m going to find a way to not fall into the negative Monday trap, because it feels a little bit like a waste of time. I did not wake up today to be mediocre, and neither did you 🙂

Only you can make it bright… Work hard – Play hard.

Make shit happen today.

I actually don’t understand the Monday Blues. You’re fresh from the weekend, full of ideas, why not clamp down on them and get to work! Use that time to utilize your Monday for the best you could ever be!!
That said I’m blessed to work for myself, so that’s probably a huge factor as to why!
Been loving your posts and your creativity lately. It sucks that you’ve been having a hard time, but I love seeing you happy in your posts again. I hope that makes sense and doesn’t come across as mean.

I agree! And it’s true, it would be a little bit harder if I hate my job, but I love it <3 And thank you... I'm feeling free and creative and alive and I'm loving it. xoxox
